Managing Portal User Time Zones

  1. Accessing the Settings

    • Navigate to the Settings section in the system.

  2. Locating Portal Users

    • Go to the Portal Users subsection within Settings.

  3. Selecting User for Time Zone Edit

    • Scroll down to the User section and choose the specific user you want to edit the time zone for.

  4. Initiating Time Zone Edit

    • Click on the three dots next to the user and select Edit Role.

  5. Choosing Time Zone

    • In the editing interface, locate the time zone selection box (usually the fourth one down).

    • The current time zone (e.g., America/Toronto for Eastern Time) will be displayed.

    • Select the appropriate time zone for the user.

  6. Importance of Portal User Time Zones

    • The user's time zone setting impacts the timing of push notifications sent from the portal.

    • Push notifications will be scheduled based on the user's selected time zone.

  7. Adjusting Time Zone for Notification Timing

    • For notifications to be sent out in a specific time zone, ensure the portal user's time zone is set accordingly.

  8. Saving Changes

    • Once the desired time zone is selected, save the changes made to the user's profile.
