How to Mark a Product as Featured

Marking a product as featured will display it at the top of its category in the app.

Prerequisites 

• Access to the Merchant Portal
• Admin level permissions

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Log into the Merchant Portal

1. Go to the Merchant Portal
2. Enter your credentials and click Login

Step 2: Access the Menu Editor

1. Select 'Menu Management' in the left side navigation bar.
2. Click on 'Products'.
3. Select the product you want to feature. 

Step 3: Locate the Featured Option

1. Scroll down to the bottom of the product details.
2. Find the 'Featured' optional section.

Step 4: Mark Featured

1. If the toggle is gray and off, click it to turn it on.
2. The toggle will change to blue, indicating the product is now marked as featured.

Best Practices / Notes

For Clients integrated with Aggregator 

• While the ability to feature products is available to you, each time a menu push is done from your aggregator it will override the selection. You will need to go mark the product as "Featured" following each menu push. 

Unmark a Product as Featured (if needed)

1. To unmark, repeat the steps to find the product.
2. Toggle the featured option off (it will turn gray).
3. Select 'Save' to apply the changes.
