# How do I generate a customer report?
## Customer reports give you insight on all of the customers in your database. Use this report to understand common trends, such as registration date, total spend, credits used and average basket size.
1\. In the sidebar, click "***Reports***" then "***Customer Report***."
2\. The report will include key contact information such as, customer name, email, phone number, as well as loyalty details.
3\. Click "***Export as CSV***" and an Excel file will download to your computer.
