How Do I Create A Category?

Categories sort your products and organize your menu so it’s easy for your customers to find what they’re looking for. Examples of categories include “Beverages,” “Salads,” and “Sandwiches.”

In the sidebar, click “Menu Management,” then “Categories.” 

Click “Create a Category.” 

Include your new category’s name. For example, “Pizzas.” 

If you want this category to be active on your mobile app or web ordering, ensure “activate” is toggled on. If the category is not active, active products assigned to this category will not show up on your ordering platform. 

Set the availability of this category. If customers can order from this category any time, ensure the toggle is set to “Available All Day.” If customers can only order from this category during a specific period (for example, if this category is only available during breakfast), click the “Available All Day” toggle so it is set to “off.” Set the “Start” and “End” times to reflect the availability of this category. 

Ensure to save your changes.
