How Do I Create A Card On My App Feed?

The app feed is important to market to different user segments or share important information with your entire user base. For example, your app home feed may have a card to promote a limited time offer or information about a new product.

To create a card in your app feed, click “Engagement” in the sidebar, then "App Feed."

Click on the app feed layout where you’d like to add your new row.

Click "Create New Feed Row."

Toggle the scrollbar to select whether you want the feed row to be visible to users or not. You can change this at any time.

Create an "internal label" which will help you identify the row.

The "Feed Row Style Type" will be "Single Card." This means that only one "card" is visible at a time when users scroll through their home feed.

You can also target your new row to a specific segment that you've created, or if you want it to be available to all users, leave the "Segments" field blank.

In the Tags field, select previously created tags that you find relevant to your row. For example, if you’re advertising a new vegetarian pizza, you may select the “vegetarian” tag you previously created.

You can include a section title (optional), which is the title that’s included over the card row. For example, your section title could be “Rewards” if you have multiple cards underneath related to your loyalty program.

From the card action drop-down, select the action that you want to occur when users tap on the card in the app: show a link, product, offer or combo.

Provide the new card with a title and subtitle. These will be visible to users.

To provide users with more information, give the card a subtitle.

Give the new card a background image by pasting a URL. Or, click "Gallery" and select the image you want as the background.

Image Requirements:

  • Maximum Pixel Size: 800px x 800px
  • Maximum File Size: 2MB
  • Format: .jpg, .png, .JPEG

A card preview will populate with the information you've just input. Make any necessary changes and once you're happy with the card, click "Done."

Your new row will now appear in the list of previously created rows and will be available for users to interact with if you selected "visible" when creating the new row. You can edit your newly created row anytime to change its visibility. Once you're happy with your row, click "Publish."
