# How Do I Assign A Price To An Option?

## Items within an option require a price, even if the price is $0.

1. In **MENU MANAGEMENT**, select **OPTION PRICE**
2. Select an Option from the dropdown that you want to price
3. After you make your selection, select the specific or **ALL ITEMS **
4. This will populate all option items where you can begin pricing. Make sure to add the same values under **PRICE & ADDITIONAL PRICE**. 
   
   *NOTE: If an option item does not have a pricing required, there still needs to be a value of 0 added in order for users to be able to successfully Checkout with the option.*
5. To add an **OVERRIDE** if option item pricing differs between locations, click on the **PLUS** icon
6. Select the applicable location 
7. Hit **SAVE** to populate all variants associated with the option item and adjust pricing accordingly for the location
8. Hit **SAVE** to implement your changes
9. You can also view all associated products to this option by clicking on **VIEW ASSOCIATED PRODUCTS**
