1. What is the coupon code in our system & what it can do?
- Coupon codes are self-manageable through the portal
- Coupon codes can be used to give dollar discounts or loyalty points (assuming loyalty is setup and configured as part of your program)
- Coupon codes can be accessed through the Account section in the app or web
- The same coupon code can be used multiple times but only one redemption per user
- The coupon code is not available at checkout
- The coupon code is not available for guest user (Guest Checkout)
2. What is the offer code? How is it different from a coupon code?
- Offer codes are another way to activate an offer on our offer engine.
- This is also mentioned as 'Offer promo codes' in the app.
- Offer codes can only be added at checkout to activate an offer
- The offers that can be activated using an offer code are discount offers, free item offers, carry-over $ offers, and bonus point offers
- Multiple offer codes can be mapped to an offer
- Offer code is only redeemable once - no multiple or multi-user redemptions
- Offer codes are not self-manageable yet (not yet available on the portal)
