Credit codes can be used to award dollar credits or loyalty points to a users account without having to make a purchase
If the award is loyalty points it will be able to be redeemed at any location. If the award is dollar credits the loyalty points can be tied to a specific location or locations
Credit codes can be accessed through the Account section in the app or web
The same credit code can be used multiple times but only one redemption per user
The credit code is not available at checkout
The credit code is not available for guest user (Guest Checkout)

Promo codes are a way to activate an offer
Promo codes can only be added at checkout to activate an offer
