How Do I Set Up a BOGO Offer
A buy one get one offer, also known as BOGO, is one of the most effective offer types because it provides the end user with a discount… or better yet, a FREE product. These campaigns typically see a large boost in new sales!
Navigate to Offer Management

Fill in Offer Details
Set Requirements and Rewards
Audience and Visibility Settings
- Go to the left-hand panel.
- Select 'Engagement'.
- Click on 'Offer Management'.
Create a New Offer
- Click on 'Create Offer'.
Fill in Offer Details
- Enter the offer name (e.g., 'Bogo Burger').
- Choose a mandatory image for the offer.
- Ensure the offer status is set to 'Active'. You can choose a start date on a later screen.
Set Requirements and Rewards
- Choose the offer source(s) that the offer will be redeemable on. I.e. Web, Mobile and/or POS.
- Select the offer type to “Free Product”.
- Fill in the maximum dollar amount for the free product (e.g., $12 for burgers).
- Select the products and corresponding variants that you would like to offer for free. This is known as "Eligible Products”, aka the “GO” in “BOGO”.
- Set up your purchase requirements. This is the “BO” in “BOGO”.
- Decide if you want the offer to apply to one or all items in the customers basket. For example with a typical BOGO offer in which a product is being given for free, selecting “All” in the Apply Multiple section means that if the customer orders 4 eligible products, 2 would be free, etc. However, if you want only one to be free regardless of how many are ordered, then select “One”.
Tip: Utilize the “copy from” functionality to reduce administrative efforts. Note, for POS integrated platforms all information must be entered manually.
Audience and Visibility Settings
- Determine if the offer applies to all customers or specific segments. Note, this is a premium offer engine tool.
- Select locations and order types for the offer.
- Choose if you want the offer to be visible on the app, or in store only. Note, in store only is only available for POS integrated clients with scan to pay functionality. For visible on the app, leave it on the default of “Always” under the visibility section. For In-Store select “Never”.
- Choose a start date for the offer.
- Decide if the offer should expire and set an expiry date if needed.
- Choose between manual activation, automatic activation, or using a promo code.
- Decide how many times a customer can redeem the offer (once or unlimited).
